You could call Princess Maker a simulation I guess. In the game you are a warrior who once saved a city from certain doom. Seems like the king and the people of the city had become so..... Well, very uncivilized. :) The gods (yes there are gods in this game) decided to destroy the city and its people. And thats where you come in. The warrior battled the demons who were busy destroying the city and deveated them. The king and the queen and of course all the other people were very grateful. And well, they gave him a nice home and money. After that he's visited by a goddess who rewards for his bravery with something he always wanted. She gives him a daughter. The goddess wants him to raise her as best as he can. And thats is when the game starts.

You start with choosing a name for your self together with your birthday. After that you choose the name of your daughter, here birthday and even blood type. Your finished with that? ON WITH THE GAME. :) It start in the family house. You can start with planning the whole week for your daughter. Things for here to do are: go to school, work, stay at home helping the butler cleaning the house, going on a vacation, free time and going on an adventure. We'll start with school. :) At school you can have her learn things that will come in handy for her work or here social life. For example you have here learn dancing, art, religion or fighting. You can have her try any job you want but she'll have learn some new skills at school if you want here succeed at her job. Shou'll of course get money from working and than you can use that for buying food, clothes or just fun presents for your daughter. School is also pretty expensive. You'll get some money every month from the King to help you out. When you want her to relax you can take here on a vacation to the mountains or the sea. When on vacation you'll see a picture of what she's doing. I also noticed that she isn't always wairing all that much clothes. In Princess Maker 3 you'll see practically naked when on vacation. So I guess thats just a little hentai and I certainly don't mind. ;) Instead of a vacation you can just let here relax at home. She'll go to town and do stuff there. Sometimes she'll get a little naughty when you've had here working too much. You can then send the butler to secretly keep an eye on her. You can also let her go on an adventure. Adventures can be really fun. You can find all kinds of items there and lots of gold. You now controll like in an rpg. Its from a top view. Adventures can also be dangerous. You'll get more from an adventure if you let her train as a fighter but of course that means that you have to neglect a different education. Every year you'll get the anual fair. There are several competitions you can enter there. You can do dancing, fighting or painting. How well she does depends on how much you had her train at school. Also at the end of every week you can choose to go to town and buy things for your daughter or you can take her out to dinner. You can also let her go to the palace and have here make important connections with the people there. Again it depends on how much you had her work on here social skills. Well, I think thats about it. At the end of the game you'll see what she chooses to become. For example, if you had here work as a lumberjack her whole life shou'll probably become one for the rest of here life. It all depends on the choices you made during her life. Also the goddess who gave you your daughter will judge you on how well you have raised her.

Its a damn good game and it will probably be different each time you start over again. You'll wont get bored with this one so give it a go. :)
