Police Quest 2 - The Vengeance Developer: Sierra On-Line, Inc Publisher: Sierra On-Line, Inc Year: 1988 Rating: 8/10 Review: A cold-blooded murderer is on the loose again - he has killed once, and he's not afraid to kill again. And this time he's after you. This armed and dangerous murderer is Jessie Bains, "The Death Angel" and it's your (Sonny Bonds) duty to put him in the jail - permanently. There are two things you'll probably notice immediately if you compare Police Quest 2 to Police Quest 1 - graphics and sounds. Police Quest 2 uses Sierra's new development system that doubles the graphics resolution and gives more advanced animations than the system used in first Police Quest. Police Quest 2 supports few well-known soundcards (like Soundblaster and Adlib) so the sound quality is much better than in the first chapter. But you can still use PC Speaker if you like. Other new things are: advanced parser, mouse control, shooting practice and under water diving. These things makes this game very enjoyable.
